This workshop is all about ceramic color, supposedly, but it is really about emotion. It is all about why we use color, and how we want to use color - to make us feel good, satisfied, and happy with our creative endeavors. The class as I have envisioned it is about your being in control and maybe losing control to get new ideas for your work. It might seem like it is 50% high school chemistry, 25% ceramic application techniques, 20% aesthetic and critical awareness and 5 % inspiration. |
